行列のジョルダン標準形を知る． The aim of the series of lectures is to understand the Jordan canonical form of matrices. |

| 授業計画 ／Course Schedule |
総授業時間数（実時間）：22.5時間 以下の内容を各1〜3回に分けて授業を行う： 1. 線型空間・線型写像の復習 Review of vector spaces and linear transformations 2．冪零変換のJordan標準形 Jordan canonical form of nilpotent transformations 3．広義固有空間とJordan標準形 Generalized eigenspaces and the Jordan canonical form 各回の学修時間は、事前・事後合わせて４時間を目安とする． |

特に指定しないが，Jordan標準形まで扱っている線型代数学の本を何か1冊手元に置いておくとよい． A textbook is not specified. |
| 成績評価方法 ／Grading Guidelines |
毎回の講義でレポート課題を提示する．8割以上の提出が合格の必要条件である．その上で、レポート内容を勘案し成績評価とする． Submission of at least 80% of the reports is required. |
