| 授業のねらい ／Learning Objectives |
産業界における事業活動では「知的財産」は重要な役割を担っている。本授業では、特許制度を中心として知的財産制度を理解する。特許については、特許明細書の読み方、先行文献調査方法、及び特許に関する手続の概略についても身につける。さらに、経営戦略と知財戦略、知財の活用についても学習する。 In business activities within industry, intellectual property plays an important role. This course provides an understanding of the intellectual property system, with a focus on the patent system. Regarding patents, students will also learn how to read patent specifications, how to conduct prior art searches, and the outline of procedures related to patents. Furthermore, the course covers business strategy and intellectual property strategy, as well as the utilization of intellectual property. |

| 授業計画 ／Course Schedule |
総授業時間数：９０分×８週＝１２時間 各週の学修時間の目安は、事前・事後合わせて４時間です。 第1回：シラバスの説明、「知的財産権」とはなにか？ ・シラバスの説明 ・知的財産制度の全体像、役割 ・知的財産制度の歴史（簡単に） 第2回：技術と知的財産（１） 第3回：技術と知的財産（２） 第4回：技術と知的財産（３） （第2回～第4回の授業で以下の内容を学習する） ・特許権、実用新案権 ・条約（TRIPS、パリ条約、PCT（特許協力条約）） ・知財の活用；自己活用、ライセンス、知的財産経営・知財戦略 ・侵害；特許の技術的範囲、権利行使 第5回：特許明細書の読み方、先行文献調査の方法、特許の手続（１） 第6回：特許明細書の読み方、先行文献調査の方法、特許の手続（２） （第5回～第6回の授業で以下の内容を学習する） ・特許明細書の構成及び読み方 ・先行文献調査の方法（J-Platpatの使い方の説明） ・特許出願後の流れ、特許に関する手続 第7回：文化と知的財産 ・商標権、意匠権、著作権 ・権利化までの流れ ・事例 第8回：定期試験・まとめ 毎回の復習を欠かさないこと（目安時間６０分）。 特に、法律用語・知的財産制度等は馴染みにくいため、参考書による予習や授業の復習により、しっかり身につけること。 Total contact hours: 90 minutes × 8 weeks = 12 hours Expected study time: Approximately 1 hour per week (combined pre-class preparation and post-class review). Weekly Schedule Week 1: Orientation / Introduction to Intellectual Property Rights Week 2: Technology and Intellectual Property (1) Week 3: Technology and Intellectual Property (2) Week 4: Technology and Intellectual Property (3) Week 5: Reading Patent Specifications / Prior Art Search / Patent Procedures (1) Week 6: Reading Patent Specifications / Prior Art Search / Patent Procedures (2) Week 7: Culture and Intellectual Property Week 8: Final Examination and Course Summary Students are expected to review the content after each class (approximately 60 minutes). Because legal terminology and the IP system may be unfamiliar, students should prepare and reinforce learning through reference materials and systematic review. |

| 成績評価方法 ／Grading Guidelines |
定期試験および課題の提出状況により評価する。100点満点中60点以上を合格とする。 Evaluation will be based on the final examination and the submission of assignments. A score of 60 or higher out of 100 is required to pass. |
| 履修上の注意 ／Notices |
授業の変更や緊急時の連絡は授業中または掲示板で通知する。 出席率75％（6限）以上を履修の条件とする。（定期試験の受験資格になります） 出席率75％に満たないものは、成績評価の対象としません。（定期試験を受験できません） 不合格者については、再試験を行う。 正当な理由で定期試験を受験できなかったものには追試験を実施する。 ・Changes to the class schedule or emergency notices will be announced during class or via the official bulletin board. ・A minimum attendance rate of 75% (at least 6 sessions) is required to complete the course. Meeting this requirement is a prerequisite for taking the final examination. ・Students with an attendance rate below 75% will not be eligible for grading or for taking the final examination. ・A re-examination will be provided for students who fail the course. ・A supplementary examination will be administered to those who are unable to take the final examination due to valid and justifiable reasons. |
