| 授業のねらい ／Learning Objectives |
この授業は日本語初級の授業を終えて中級レベルの日本語を学ぶ人か、日本語を用いて学部を卒業し大学院へ進学した留学生が学ぶ中級・上級の日本語授業です。留学生が大学で履修したり研究したりする際の学術目的の日本語を学びます。一部ではビジネス用途の日本語も学びます。 This course aims to give an intermediate and/or advanced spoken/written Japanese to the international students who finished basic Japanese courses or graduated from undergraduate course through Japanese language. They will learn academic Japanese for their research activities mainly. They will also learn business Japanese in a certain degree. |

1. 資料に含まれる情報を正確に把握し、論理的な解釈を導くことができる。 2. 形状や機能の説明、手順の説明など、特定の目的に合う文章が書けるようになる。 3. 科学技術に関する基本的な語彙を会話でも文章でも使用できるようになる。 4. JLPTのN1、あるいはN2レベルに必要な文法や読解問題の正答を導くことができる。 1. Students will read an article and can understand it correctly and logically. 2. Students will be able to write different types of texts such as descriptions of devices and procedure. 3. Students will be able to use technical terms in science and engineering both in conversation and writing. 4. Students will be able to choose correct answers of grammar and/or reading questions for JLPT N1 or N2 test. |
| 授業計画 ／Course Schedule |
下は授業の計画です。中級の３コースか上級の３コースから学ぶことができます。 You need to choose one of the six courses. Course schedule will be as follows: こちらは中級クラスです。 [Intermediate MA2] ・You will learn low-intermediate level of Japanese reading skills based on textbook for learners who have just finished basic Japanese level. [Intermediate MC2] ・You will learn high intermediate level of Japanese for science and engineering use. Advanced-level students can also take this course. [Intermediate MD2] ・You will learn intermediate or high-intermediate level of Japanese grammar and reading skills so that you will pass JLPT N2 or N3. (The class will be divided into two; N2 and N3.) こちらは上級クラスです。 [Advanced A-2] ・You will learn higher or advanced level of Japanese reading skills based on newspapers, magazines, or research articles. 上級読解のコースとなります。 [Advanced B-2] ・You will learn higher or advanced level of Japanese writing skills for academic use. 上級作文のコースとなります。 [Advanced D-2] ・You will learn higher level of Japanese grammar and reading skills so that you will pass JLPT N1. 資格試験対策コースとなります。 Total: 22.5hours For more information, please check the website of Center for International Relations. You need to study at home by yourself for at least over 1 hour as self-study including homework and assignment. |

| 成績評価方法 ／Grading Guidelines |
この授業は、授業中の小テスト・作文や授業外の宿題提出等による課題評価50%、期末試験や最終プレゼンテーション等の学期末評価50%の割合に基づいて評価を行う予定です（到達度目標１，２）。全ての評価を総合的に判断して、評点100点満点中60点以上の得点をとれば合格となります。詳細や成績評価割合の変更は各コース担当の教員から説明があります。 Assignment 50% and final exam or report 50%. A credit is given for 60 % and over. |
| 履修上の注意 ／Notices |
単位を修得するために、授業には80%以上の出席が必要です。つまり、全30回の授業のうち、24回以上の出席が必要です。 At least 80% of attendance is required. |
| 教員メッセージ ／Message from Lecturer |
教室内では日本語だけを使ってください。また、教室外でも日本に滞在中は、友人同士の会話でも、できるだけ日本語を使うようにし、日常的に訓練に励んでください。 You have to (try to) use only Japanese inside the classroom. And you should do your best to use Japanese as much as possible while you are staying in Japan, even when you communicate with your friends at campus. Then, your Japanese skills will be improved much faster. |
