| 授業のねらい ／Learning Objectives |
この授業では、世界の言語のうち、７つの異なる語族から代表言語を1つずつ選定し、検討することで、各語族の言語特徴について理解するばかりではなく、言語の普遍性と多様性に気づくことを目的とする。 The purpose of this course is not only to understand lingustic characteristics of 7 different language families but also to recognize linguistic universality and diversity by examining a target language chosen from each language family. |

1) 7つの異なる語族における言語特徴について理解する。 2) 言語の普遍性と多様性について認識する。 3) 自分の母語または学習経験のある言語との類似点と相違点について考える。 4) 言語間の類似点と相違点を見つけ出す方法論を学ぶ。 1) To understand linguistic features of 7 different language families. 2) To recognize linguistic universality and diversity 3) To consider similarities and differences with one's mother tongue or other languages which (s)he has studied before. 4) To learn methodology to figure out similarities and differences among languages. |

・授業は、下記の順で進めるが、諸事情により、順番や対象言語が変わる可能性がある。また、授業後、小課題が課されることがある。 ・This course will be conducted as below, but the order and target language may change depending on various circumstances. | 成績評価方法 ／Grading Guidelines |
出席（２０点）、課題発表（３０点）、レポート（５０点）で、それぞれ評価する。 １００点満点中６０点以上を合格とする。 Evaluation will be made based on the submission of attendance (20 points), presentation (30 points), and essay (50 points). Those who obtain more than 60 points in total will be passed. 新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行状況に伴い、学生への十分な周知のもと、成績評価方法は変更する可能性があります。 Due to the pandemic situation of COVID19, the evaluation method may be changed. Any changes will be informed to students in advance. |

３回以上欠席した場合は、単位取得を認めない。 Students who are absent more than 3 times will not be allowed to earn a credit. |
