授業のねらい
/Learning Objectives
The aim of the course is to teach students the specialized issues of mechanical engineering and robotics, including the research trends and topics of cutting edge element technology and systemization.
到達度目標
/Outcomes Measured By:
On completion of this course, students should:
i) have up-to-date and cross-cutting knowledge of specialized subjects in mechanical engineering and robotics
ii) explain element technology and systemization of domestic and international research trends
iii) state their own view of future technology in specialized subjects in mechanical engineering and robotics
授業計画
/Course Schedule
Total class hours: 12 hrs
W1: Guidance / Introduction to design engineering [Kazama]
W2: Basics and application of strength of materials [Tateyama]
W3: Basics and application of impact engineering [Tateyama]
W4: Basics and application of foundry technology-1 [Tayu]
W5: Basics and application of foundry technology-2 [Tayu]
W6: Basics and application of corrosion engineering [Sasaki]
W7: Basics and application of engineering materials [Sasaki]
W8: Basics and application of fluid mechanics [Kazama]
(subject to change)
This course meets once a week in the 1st quarter.
For each 90 minute class, students are expected to undertake an additional 4 hours of self study.
<Owing to the covid-19 situation, there is a possibility to change the course schedule and teaching methods. In that case, it will be posted on Moodle or announced in the class.>
The lectures will broaden the coverage of several textbooks and provide the latest scientific, engineering and technical information with the class note as well as handouts. No textbook is listed as a complete reference for this course. To access to the e-journals on the university library site and to read the related papers will be strongly recommended.
成績評価方法
/Grading Guidelines
- Each teacher will give students an assignment(s) (a short report(s) or a minute paper(s)) relating to the lectures (25 % x 4 = 100 %).
- A grade of more than 60 is accepted for a credit.
