| 授業のねらい ／Learning Objectives |
学年（年齢）も文化も異なる留学生と日本人学生(～13名ずつ）で構成されるこのクラス。 それは、普段意識されることのない自文化の「隠れた」価値およびプライオリティーのあり方に触れることのできる絶好のチャンス。 MoFやロールプレイなどの手法を取り入れながら、それを探ってゆく。 This is a class made up of foreign and Japanese students (13-14 each). The course will provide the rare chance to realize and touch at the priorities and 'hidden' values of one's own culture. The insight will be deepened by using the methods of MoF, role-plays, and others. |

（1）文化的相違を実際に経験し、実感すること。 （2）それによって次第に浮かび上がって来る自文化の「隠れた」価値およびプライオリティーのあり方を考察すること。 （3）討論を重ねながら、自らの文化と相手の文化を可能な限り理解すること。 （4）そうして理解したことを言葉で他者に説明できるようになること。 1. To actually experience and to become aware of the cultural differences. 2. Through this awareness the priorities and ‘hidden’ values of one’s own culture will gradually become visible. 3. By discussing the findings and thoughts about the reason for their formation an utmost understanding of one’s own culture as well as that of the other will be reached. 4. Finally, to be able to concisely explain to others, the deep and hidden points understood. |
| 授業計画 ／Course Schedule |
総授業時間数 45分／60分（60分分の45分）×2（90分授業ゆえ）×15＝22.5時間 総授業時間数は定期試験を除く実時間（22.5時間） 授業はロールプレイやドラマ、 MoF、バンガ、アルバトロスなど様々な方法を取り入れて行う。そこでの体験（その時に感じた些細な違和感や反発など）の分析とディスカッションを通じ、上記目標の実現を目指す。 本授業は単なる知識の伝達ではないため、受講者の理解度をみながらそれに合わせた方法を取り入れつつ授業を進める必要がある。それゆえ授業計画に関しては、授業の中で適宜説明を行っていく。 ・オープンマインドで参加すること。 ・多様性を受け入れ、他文化を尊重すること。 In order to raise awareness, to improve real interaction and understanding, as well as getting to the hidden values of one’s own culture, various methods will be introduced, such as role-plays, drama, MoF, Barnga, Albatross etc. The actions and feelings students will experience in the process, will be analyzed and discussed in order to attain the above mentioned goals. ・To participate with an open mind. ・To learn how to change perspectives and see the relativity of all actions, mores and things.? ・To accept diversity and to respect all other cultures. 第１回：挨拶と自己紹介 第２回：非言語コミュニケーションとその諸要素について 第３回：非言語コミュニケーションの意識的文化体験 第４回：異文化体験とコミュニケーションの問題 第５回：アルバトロス文化の体験とグループ内でのディスカッション 第６回：日本の小学校教育の背後にある価値観と世界観 第７回：マレーシアの小学校教育の背後にある価値観と世界観 第８回：中国の小学校教育の背後にある価値観と世界観 第９回：常識と非常識 第１０回：視覚コミュニケーション（特に文章表現）における非言語要素 第１１回：ＣＭに反映されるそれぞれの国・地域の文化 第１２回：同一のメーカーや商品に関するＣＭの国別の文化的側面からの考察 第１３回：メディアにおける文化の現れ方 第１４回：各国のニュースの文化的側面からの分析（グループワーク） 第１５回：振り返り 定期試験 新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行状況に伴い、学生への十分な周知のもと、授業計画・授業実施方法は変更する可能性があります。 |

| 成績評価方法 ／Grading Guidelines |
成績評価は、全体の50％を授業への参加度（意見発表、積極性，真撃さなど）を評価して決定する。残りの50％はプレゼンと提出されたレポートの内容によって評価する。100点満点中60点以上を合格とする。 新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行状況に伴い、学生への十分な周知のもと、成績評価方法は変更する可能性があります。 Outcomes 1. ~ 3. will be graded upon your degree of participation in class (voicing your opinion, activity as well as assertiveness) and accounts for up to 50 points of the total. Outcome 4. will be graded based on the content of your report, and also accounts for up to 50 points of the total. 100 are the highest possible points to achieve. 60 points out of the total of 100 points are necessary to pass. |
| 履修上の注意 ／Notices |
履修希望者は、学期開始後３週目までに教員室に来室して直接申し出ること。留学生の場合は、中級以上のレベル（「日本語Ｂ」程度）の日本語力を有していること。 １年次から受講できるが、２年次以降の履修が望ましい。 定員は26名。受講希望者が多数の場合、選抜を行うことがある。 授業には８０％以上出席すること。 不合格の場合は再履修すること。 Foreign students should have a sufficient understanding of Japanese (JapaneseB). There will be a draw if too many students apply. 80% attendance is compulsory. Students who fail the course have to take it again. |
