| 授業のねらい ／Learning Objectives |
This class aims to extend communicative skills in English through extensive practice in speaking and listening. Further aims of this class include development of sociolinguistic competence and intercultural communication skills. Key areas of the course are focused on developing an ability to express opinions and thoughts about life, experiences and society. The prime objective is that students will improve their confidence in communicating in English. This course is given entirely in English. |

To gain practical experience using English appropriately in a variety of social situations especially in relation to expressing opinions and reflections about life, experiences and society. 3. ミニテスト (20%)、2回のスピーキングテスト (20%)、積極的な参加による成績は (10%)、コーススコアの50％に相当する。期末テストは50％です。合格には60％の成績が必要です。 Grades from mini-tests (20%), two speaking tests (20%), and active participation (10%) will equal 50% of the course score. A final exam will be worth 50%. A grade of 60% is required to pass the course. The English level in this class is TOEIC 400 - 500. To register for this class, you must: (1) Have obtained 6 credits for all 1st and 2nd year English language classes; (2) Have a TOEIC score of 400 or more. Proof of the TOEIC score will need to be submitted to the teacher. Without proof of the TOEIC score the student cannot take this class.
