| 授業のねらい ／Learning Objectives |
野生生物保全政策の現状、意義、問題点、そして改善の可能性を、住民と野生生物との軋轢の予防体制づくりという観点から、具体的事例に基づいて理解させる。 This course focuses on the policies in the area of wildlife conservation and management. They are primarily discussed from the viewpoint of preventing human-animal conflicts. Emphasis is put upon people’s attitudes and behaviors toward wildlife, and upon community-based, proactive measure-oriented wildlife management. （※2021年度より授業担当者が変更になりました。詳しくはガイダンスをご視聴ください。） |

| 授業計画 ／Course Schedule |
総授業時間数（実時間）：22.5時間 Moodleを用いてスライドと音声による解説を配信し、遠隔授業とする。 ただし新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行状況に伴い、この授業計画は変更することもありうる。 （※2021年度より授業担当者が変更になりました。詳しくはガイダンスをご視聴ください。） 第1 回 ガイダンス 授業の概要、目標、教材、評価法等について周知する 第2 回 講義 日本の野生生物の現状 第3 回 講義 日本の野生生物に関する政策の歴史 第4 回 講義 海外の現状と政策の例 第5 回 講義 日本の野生生物政策の問題点 第6-10 回 輪読 国内外の取組事例 第11-14 回 グループワーク 地域における問題打開のシミュレーション 第15回 発表会 各グループによるシミュレーション成果の発表 第 1-5 回は教員による講義を中心に進める。講義の後に質問の時間を設ける。受講者は授業外学習も踏まえて講義内容について積極的に質問し、議論を行うことが求められる。 第 6-10 回は、今日までの問題解決の試みについて国内外の文献を輪読する。受講者の着実な授業外学習と授業時の議論が求められる。 第 11-14 回は、いくつかのグループに分かれて打開策を構想する。受講者の授業外の自主学習と積極的な共同作業が求められる。 第15 回は各グループによるシミュレーション成果の発表会。 各回の学修時間の目安は、事前・事後合わせて４時間必要です。 Total hours = 22.5. | 成績評価方法 ／Grading Guidelines |
100 点満点中80 点以上をA、70～79 点をB、60～69 点をC とし、59点以下を不合格とする。 内訳は、期末レポート（40点満点）と輪読・演習におけるパフォーマンス（各30点満点）とする。 ただし新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行状況に伴い、この成績評価方法は変更することもありうる。 The score of each student is evaluated by his/her performance in the review(30%) , the group work(30%), and the final presentation(40%) . A grade of more than 60 is accepted for credits. This grading guideline is subject to change, due to possible changes in the risk of infection by COVID-19. |

本講義は日本語で行いますが、講義資料に英訳を付します。 また、レポート課題に関しては日本語のみならず英語で作成したものも受け付けます。 The language used in this lecture is Japanese. However, I will add an English translation to the PowerPoint slides used in the lecture. In addition, you can submit the report in either Japanese or English. |
