授業のねらい
/Learning Objectives
This course will cover presentation techniques, body language, visuals and audience interaction. By the end of the course students will be able to deliver professional poster and power point presentations on subjects of their choice.
The course aims to give the students the vocabulary and expressions needed to give a successful presentation in English. Coursework will include examples of presentations and practice in public speaking activities that will help enable students to learn and practice specific expressions and structures.

Students will learn about presentation styles and techniques and practice a variety of these to ensure they are prepared for presentations they will have in the future.

Week 1 - Introduction
Week 2 - kinds of presentations - self introduction - posture, voice, etc.
Week 3 - presentation practice in groups - body posture, voice, etc.
Week 4 - presentation practice in groups - assessing other presentations
Week 5 - pair presentations
Week 6 - introduction to poster presentations
Week 7 -create/ practice poster presentations
Week 8 - pair poster presentations
Week 9 - power point presentations practice
Week 10 - group work - power point slides
Week 11 - power point pair presentations
Week 12 - work and practice final presentation
Week 13 - work and practice final presentation
Weeks 14 and 15 - final individual presentations

成績評価方法
/Grading Guidelines
Group Presentation 20%,Poster Presentations 30%, Final presentation 50%
A grade of more than 60 is accepted for a credit.
Students whose final presentation is unsatisfactory must rewrite the final presentation.
履修上の注意
/Notices
Students cannot have more than 3 absences, no matter the reason.
A fourth absence will result in failure in the course.
