| 授業のねらい ／Learning Objectives |
This class aims to extend communicative skills in English through extensive practice in listening and speaking. Further aims of this class include development of sociolinguistic competence and intercultural communication skills. The prime objective is to have students improve their confidence in communicating in English. |

期末試験５０％、課題又は小テスト５０％の割合で１００点満点に換算し、６０点以上を合格とする。 到達度目標（１）は課題又は小テスト又はインタビューテストで評価する 到達度目標（２）、（３）は課題、小テスト又は期末試験で評価する |
| 履修上の注意 ／Notices |
受講学生は、次の２つの条件を満たしている必要がある。 (1)英語科目の単位を既に10単位以上取得していること。 (2)TOEICのスコアが４５０点以上であること（カレッジTOEICでも公開テストでもよい）。第１週目の授業に認定証の写しを提出すること。最初のクラスでこのコースを履修する英語力があるかどうかプレイスメントテストを行う。 欠席の回数は理由の如何にかかわらず３回までしか認めない。『学生便覧』に載っている欠席届けを教務課に提出すること。4回以上欠席した者は再履修クラスを受講しなければならない。 不合格の場合でも再試験はありません。 |

１．遅刻はしないこと。出席をとった後の入室は遅刻とみなす。 ２．原則として、授業開始後の途中退室は認めない。許可なく退室した者は、欠席とみなす。 ３．出席した以上、授業に参加することの意思表明をしたことになるので、積極的・協力的な姿勢で学習に臨んでもらいたい。 ４．This is a communication class so please come to class prepared to communicate and interact in English with your classmates and teacher. |
