授業のねらい
/Learning Objectives
The current energy consumption speed exceeds the reproduction speed. This causes the issue of a drain on fossil fuels and global warming and obstacles to development of sustainable society. Renewable energy, energy recycling, and energy saving are key topics in this subject. The outline of advanced materials realizing green energy society is introduced, For example, thermoelectric materials, superconductors, ferroelectrics, hydrogen storage materials and permanent magnets supporting hybrid vehicle and electric vehicle.

/Outcomes Measured By:
(1) Understandings of current energy and environmental issues. Each student is expected to plan research theme or target to solve these issues independently.
(2) A way for creation of idea or taking action in order to realize green energy society is focused.
