科学技術分野のトピックを扱った本や雑誌、テレビ番組などを材料に、大学で学ぶための基本的な語彙(ごい)や表現を学ぶ This course aims to provide students in science and technology with basic vocabulary and expressions needed for studying their majors, using TV programs and/or magazine articles that highlight scientific topics. |

| 成績評価方法 ／Grading Guidelines |
毎回の授業で、とりあげた番組や記事の内容に関連した短い作文を含む小テストを課す。これにより評価する。 100点満点中60点以上を合格点とする Students are expected to sit a quiz or write a short essay every week, related to the study materials such as TV programs and magazine articles. Final grades are assessed based on performance in weekly quizzes/essays. A credit is given for grades of 60 % and over. |

日本語能力試験N2レベル以上の日本語力を有すること。 授業には８０％以上出席すること。 The participant is required to have knowledge and command of JLPT N2 Level Japanese or above, and at least 80% of attendance. |
