授業のねらい
/Learning Objectives
In recent years, losing international competitiveness of Japanese science and technology is remarkable. In addition to understanding of the source of losing Japanese current international competitiveness, I desire to discuss with the graduates who are expected to be active part as researchers and engineers how we go ahead with developing technologies and industrialize by the position of companies in the future introducing the cases. The lecture's aim is practical one that picks up developing cases ; the steel and automotive industry in the manufacturing one, the effuluent treatment as the attraction in the environmental field recently in the field of researching development, biomass alcohol, emulsified fuel and energy storage in the energy field, considering the various situations such as the difference of the position as stuff, sub-leader or leader at developing researches and technologies, the difference of the researching place where is in companies or in the government agency, the infrastructure improvement, development and changing of application of new materials, communication and controlling, design of system and quality control, customer information managements.

/Outcomes Measured By:
①Understandings of the problems of Japanese industry tied with losing Japanese industrial competitiveness and what young engineers should do in this case.
②Learning the necessary goal setting at the developing technology , methodology for the achievement citing instances of environment and energy, and understandings that it can roll out at other fields. ③Understandings the importance of the most necessary viewpoint and tenacity at the developing technology, how to make the project system for the implementation and imprinting on engineers of different fields for industrialization. ④Understandings the goal setting for the implementation and researching management on the research support, furthermore, disclosing the ideal engineer of producing the world-class technology. You should submit the reports every week.

Classes will begin in April and be given 2 lessons per class (90 minutes). It will be over in June.
教科書・参考書に関する備考 No text book.The stuff for presentation is delivered in every class.
成績評価方法
/Grading Guidelines
The score of each student is evaluated by 2 reports.
Each report is 50, so the total is full marks. A grade of more than 60 is accepted for a credit.
履修上の注意
/Notices
①You need to attend the classes of more than 80 %. ( I'll regard the student who attend classes of less than 80 % as him without getting credit.)
②As this subject is 1 credit, it will be taught in 90 minutes and 8 classes.
③I don't reexamine.
④It will begin in April, not intensive course.

/Message from Lecturer
It is neccesary to integrate the technique by sharp sensitivity, setting a clear goal, an extensive knowledge and connection for developing the world-class technology. In addition faith to carry out till the last is demanded. I want to carry out practical lectures such as what kind of development techniques you get by your situation. I want ambitious students to attend this subject. Also I want you to study what young engineers should be while at college, to be more motivated as engineers in the future ( young engineers' worth doing and understanding of the social responsibility) and to go on job hunting.
