本学の海外学術交流協定校における語学・文化研修に参加することで、英語コミュニケーション力の向上を図るとともに、ホームステイや大学寮生活などを通じて異文化に触れることにより、豊かな人間性と社会性・国際性を培う。 This is a study tour abroad in which students visit one of the academic-related colleges and learn English language and culture there. The main purpose of this subject is to improve their communicative skills of English and to cultivate their human nature through intercultural experiences such as homestay or college dormitory life. |

【オーストラリアRMIT語学研修】 夏期休業中の約２週間強(2016年度実績:8/27-9/14)、オーストラリアの学術協定校ロイヤルメルボルン工科大学(RMIT)において「語学・文化研修」として実施する。研修の内容は、実用的英会話、RMIT学生との交流活動、RMIT日本語授業でのTA体験、オーストラリアの文化・社会・自然などについての講義の他、各種文化施設の見学、メルボルン郊外への小旅行などから構成される。渡航期間中はホームステイとなる。研修費用は航空運賃・研修諸経費・滞在費で約29万円程度である。（総授業時間数22.5時間以上。） 【ヨーロッパ語学研修】 春季休業中の約２週間強(2016年度実績:2/22-3/12)、ヨーロッパの学術協定校ツヴィッカウ応用科学大学において「語学・文化研修」として実施する。研修の内容は、現地における実用的な語学授業やツヴィッカウの大学生との交流活動、歴史・文化施設への訪問の他、ドイツ・チェコ・フランスの主要都市訪問などから構成される。渡航期間中に大学寮生活も体験できる。研修費用は航空運賃・研修諸経費・滞在費で約28万円程度である。（総授業時間数22.5時間以上。） *** English translation is moved to the following cell (Note for Textbooks) due to limited space. *** |

[Study Tour to RMIT, Melbourne, Australia] Students visit RMIT and stay there for about two weeks in order to study English language and culture. They will participate in not only intensive English lessons but also RMIT students' activities, RMIT instructors' lectures related to Australian history and culture, a short trip away from Melbourne, a tour for cultural-arts complex facilities, etc. During their stay in Melbourne, they will have a homestay individually. It will cost them about 290,000 JPY in total to participate. [Study Tour to Zwickau, Europe] Students visit University of Applied Science Zwickau and stay there for about two weeks in order to study practical English usage and European culture. They will participate in not only English lessons but also students' activities, instructors' lectures related to European history and culture, a short trip around Germany, France and Czech Republic, etc. During their stay in Europe, they will mainly stay in college dormitory. It will cost them about 280,000 JPY in total to participate. |
| 成績評価方法 ／Grading Guidelines |
研修を終え帰国した後、事後レポートを提出する。到達度目標１）から３）について、研修先の担当教師の評価に基づいて、本学の担当教員が行う。 １００点満点中６０点以上を合格とする。 After the tour, students have to hand in an after-action report. Based on the evaluation by the coordinator in RMIT or Zwitkau, one of the Muroran-IT instructors will give grades to each students. |
| 履修上の注意 ／Notices |
募集期間中（RMIT:6月～7月 / Europe:12月～1月）に募集要項を配付し、説明会を行う。募集人数は10名程度を予定している。応募者数が定員を超えた場合、選抜を行うこともある。不合格の場合は再履修となる。 Instructors will advertise for students to participate. Several meetings will be held before the tour. 10 will be the maximum in each tour. |
