授業のねらい
/Learning Objectives
The aim of the course is to teach students the specialized and cross-sectoral issues of robotics, including the research trends and topics of cutting edge element technology and systemization relating to production systems engineering.

This course meets once a week in the 1st and 2nd quarters.
Preparation and review are expected, including homework and assignments. A part may be replaced with a special lecture and an intensive course. A class may include exchange of opinions, group work, and debate.
教科書・参考書に関する備考 The lectures will broaden the coverage of several textbooks and provide the latest scientific, engineering and technical information with the class note as well as handouts. No textbook is listed as a complete reference for this course. To access to the e-journals on the university library site and to read the papers will be strongly recommended.
成績評価方法
/Grading Guidelines
Students who obtain a 60% + average over the reporting assignment pass the course (no resit). The assignment will be assessed as follows: Structure, accuracy, clarity of communication, effective use of figures and tables, application of material and references, and your own analysis and interpretation.
One report (less than ten A4 pages including a cover sheet, figures, tables, and references) in English or Japanese. The report should be turned in on the appointed date.
