授業のねらい /Learning Objectives |
Manned space system has been developed for space flight of human and exploration of extraterrestrial bodies. Engineering practice for integration of manned system is discussed. Technology specific to manned space activities is focused in this lecture. Based on response of living organism against space environment manned system should be integrated in order to accomplish mission objective. Trade off study of several system concept is conducted after assessing technical maturity of them. Summarizing these consideration space agriculture is studied as an advanced life support engineering and practice manned system engineering. |

Scientific and technological basis of manned space activities and engineering for supporting them is the major topics of this lecture. Through practice of engineering case study for future manned activities in outer space ability of system engineering is acquired. This expected ability is ranged over judgement on maturity of consisting component technologies and system integration of them. |

Issues associated with commitment of Japan to manned space activities have been discussed in many occasions. I believe Japan and east Asia could contribute in their specific way to manned space engineering. In this lecture advanced technology for life support and space system with focus on human factor are introduced and discussed in the class. |
