This lecture deals with the knowledge about designing and producing medical equipment, prosthesis and medical robots. |

Movement of rigid body 9. Structure and moving elements of human body 10. Kinematic and dynamic analysis of human body 11.Basic components and their functions of robots 12.Issues on constructing of robots which interact with human 13.Robot technology used for wheelchairs or prosthetic hand 14. Case of psychological influence of the human involved with robots 15.Applications such as minimally invasive surgery using robots |

No.1 Introduction of mechanical medical device: classification, design and production No.2 Construction process of artifacts: analysis and synthesis of machine development No.3 Analysis and design of machine functions: evaluation method, design method No.4 Production of machine function I: fabrication of machine elements No.5 Production of machine function II: construction of mechanical systems No.6 Introduction of kinematics and dynamics I: coordinates, point mass, rigid body, equation of motion No.7 Introduction of kinematics and dynamics II: translational motion, momentum and mechanical energy No.8 Introduction of kinematics and dynamics III: rotational motion, moment, torque, joint torque No.9 Physiology and anatomy of musculoskeletal system: bone, joint and muscle of human body No.10 Biomechanics of musculoskeletal system: motion analysis and dynamic analysis No.11 Structure of robots: Basic components and their functions of robots No.12 Interaction between human and robots: Constituting principle of robot coexistent with human No.13 Prosthesis and robot technology: Robot and system construction supporting human's physical functions No.14 Therapy and robot technology: Psychological influence of robots No.15 Medical equipments and robot technology: Configuration of robots used for medical practice such as surgery. |
