授業のねらい /Learning Objectives |
The number of engineering materials is large: estimate range from 40,000 to 80,000. The mechanical designer must select the material best suited to his task from this vast menu. This lecture aims for understanding of design process, engineering materials, their properties, materials selection charts (correlations between their properties) and so on, which are essential for making a rational material choice. Some case studies are also taken up in this lecture. |
