| 授業のねらい ／Learning Objectives |
先ずはヨーロッパ諸国の歴史的・社会的・文化的な関係について理解することから始め、それをベースにしてEUの全体像の把握を目指す。 またMoF(説明は後述)を用い、EUの中で対立を生む元ともなった諸国間の文化の相違とそこにいたった原因について考える。 Understanding of the historically, socially, and culturally intertwined relations among the European countries. On this basis the aim is to grasp the general situation of the EU. By introducing the MoF (explanation given below) we will explore the reasons for the cultural differences among European countries, which again are the source(s) of controversies within the EU. |

1.ヨーロッパ文化の概略およびMoFの理解基礎的知識の獲得。 2.MoFを手がかりとして、ヨーロッパ文化における行動様式や反応の仕方の特徴などの理解全体像把握のための方法論の習得。 3.次に具体例として、ヨーロッパ各国における親子関係や教育・大学制度、会社モデル、広告のあり方など、講義参加者が関心を持つテーマについてグループでリサーチを行う方法論の実践への応用とその能力の涵養。 4.各グループの発表結果について参加者全員でディスカッションを行い、EUを構成するヨーロッパ諸国間の関係や相違、その理由などの理解を確かなものとするディスカッションを契機とした多面的な考え方の獲得。 1. Understanding of the outline of European Culture, as well as the MoF. 2. Using the MoF, participants will explore the idiosyncratic patterns of acting/ reacting in a given European culture. 3. Participants will work in groups and research a topic of their choice, e.g. parent-child-relations, education/ university system, company models, TV Ads + PR schemes etc. 4. The results of the presentation of each group will be discussed in the class in order for them to gain a deeper understanding of the causes of the differences and relations among the countries which make up the EU. |
| 授業計画 ／Course Schedule |
総授業時間数は22.5時間です. 1-2 週目 イントロダクション。文化の意味についてのディスカッション。受講者のヨーロッパに関する知識の把握。 Introduction, and discussion about the meaning of ‘culture’. What do participants know about Europe? 3-4 週目 MoFの紹介と様々なケースを例に挙げての説明。 MoFとは、それを用いることで、ある文化における行動様式や働き方、対人関係のあり方などを知ることのできる一つのモデルである。 MoF will be introduced and explained. Using the MoF preferred habits and styles of working, acting and proceeding in a certain culture can be discerned. 5-8 週目 様々なテーマの紹介。ヨーロッパ､特にドイツを中心とした親子関係や教育・大学制度、会社モデル、広告のあり方などについて、Mofを用いた説明を行う。グループ毎にテーマを決め、根本的な文化間の相違に配慮しつつその課題に取り組む。意見交換の場として、Moodleプラットフォームも利用する。その間、担当教員は適宜アドバイスを行う。Introduction of various subjects such as: education and university-systems, child-parents-relations, how companies are organized, how advertisements are designed and conceptualized in different European countries, especially Germany. Next, students will choose their topics and form groups. Applying the MoF, they will be able to grasp the cultural differences within Europe. The Moodle platform can be used for discussions, advice will be given. 9-14 週目 受講者による発表。それに関する補完説明とディスカッション。比較分析。 The groups will present their findings, followed by discussions and further explanations. The findings will be compared and analyzed. 15 週目 最後のまとめ。レポートテーマの発表。 Final summary. Topics for reports will be given. ・前回の授業内容を予め復習した上で授業に参加すること。 ・授業時間内に小テストを実施するので、準備すること。 ・授業態度も評価対象となるので、積極的に授業に参加すること。 |

| 成績評価方法 ／Grading Guidelines |
最後のまとめとして作成されたレポート40点、プレゼンテーション20点、授業態度20点、小テスト20点の割合で評価する。100点満点中60点以上を合格とする。 Report counts 40 points, short tests, group presentation, and active participation in class count each 20 points. 60 points out of the total of 100 points are necessary to pass. Students, who do not pass, will have to retake the course. 各到達度目標の評価方法は、次のように行う。 目標１．小テストを行い、達成度を評価する。 目標２．小テストを行い、達成度を評価する。 目標３．レポートで達成度を評価する。 目標４．レポートで授業全体の総合的理解に関する達成度を評価する。 Outcomes of 1. and 2. will be measured by short tests. Outcomes of 3. and 4. will be measured by report. |
| 履修上の注意 ／Notices |
①総合的理解力の向上を図るため、適宜小テストを実施する。十分復習をしておくこと。 ②授業中の質問は大歓迎。オフィスアワーなどでの質問も適宜受け付け る。 ③授業の変更や緊急時の連絡は授業中または掲示板で通知をする。 ④再試験は行わない。不合格者は再履修とする。 ① Comprehensive understanding will be measured by short tests. Please prepare. ② To ask questions in class as well as during office hour is highly welcomed. ③ Changes of class-schedule etc. will be announced. ④ There will be no second test. Students, who failed have to retake the course. |
