| 授業のねらい ／Learning Objectives |
授業は留学生（13~14名）と日本人学生（13~14名）が合同で行なう。授業ではロールプレイ等の体験型活動とレクチャー、並びに日本と留学生の出身国における文化的要素や社会事情に関する共同調査、発表、ディスカッション等を通して相互理解を深めながら、異文化間コミュニケーション学の基礎的な知識とスキルを実践的に身に付ける。 This class is made up of international and Japanese students (13-14 each). In this class students will learn basic knowledge and skills about intercultural communication through short lectures, experiential activities (role plays and simulations), and students’ presentations and discussions about cultural aspects and/or social issues of Japan and the countries where international students are from. |

１．異文化間コミュニケーション学の基礎知識とスキル（アイデンティティ、文化、言語・非言語コミュニケーション、価値観、傾聴等）について理解し、実践の場でそれらの理論やスキルを応用することができる。 ２．他者と平等な立場で建設的な関係を築くための基礎知識とスキルを、実践を通して身に付ける。 1. Have basic knowledge and skills of Intercultural Communication Studies (e.g. identities, culture, verbal/non-verbal communication, values, active listening and others), and have abilities to apply the knowledge and skills in an intercultural environment. 2. Have knowledge and skills to build a constructive, collaborative and equal relationship with others. |

| 成績評価方法 ／Grading Guidelines |
授業での発表と貢献度（３０％）、学びレポート3回（６０％）、振り返り発表（１０％）で評価し、合計１００点満点中６０点以上を合格とする。 Presentation and contribution (30 points), three reports about learnings from the classes (60 points), Final debriefing and presentation (10 points). At least 60 points are necessary to pass the course. |
| 履修上の注意 ／Notices |
履修希望者は、学期開始後1週間以内に国際交流センターにて申し込みを行うこと。受講希望者が多数の場合は選抜を行う。 留学生は意見交換ができる日本語力があること（最低でも日本語能力試験N3レベル以上であること）。レポートは英語で書いてもよい。 授業には８０％以上出席すること。 Students who want to sign up for this course should contact Center for International Relations within a week after the start of the term. There will be a draw if too many students apply. International students should have a sufficient understanding of Japanese (higher than JLPT N3 level) and should be able to verbally communicate one’s opinions in Japanese. Reports can be written in English. 80% attendance is compulsory. |

基本的には日本語を使うが、配布資料の一部には英語も併記する。また理解が難しい場合は英語で説明することもある。 Japanese will be used in a class, but English will be written on some materials. The instructor may speak English if international students have difficulties understanding the contents of the lectures. |
