授業のねらい
/Learning Objectives
The concept of information processing of the manufacturing system under network management, the actual condition of processing, and a problem are outlined. And the solution of problem, in addition the concept of an intelligent manufacturing system is shown.

On completion of this course, students should have the fundamental knowledge of production system and data processing.

Total class hours: 12 hrs.
1. The current condition and the problem of a production process under network management
2. The outline of the information processing system in a production process
3. The unified expression of the knowledge in a design and a production process
4. Analysis and expression of knowledge
5. The example of use under the network management of knowledge expression
6. Summary

成績評価方法
/Grading Guidelines
Examination (60%) and take-home assignment (40%). Students who obtain a 60% + average over the examination and the assignment pass the course (no resit).

The students will be expected to read the references on Instrumentation Engineering prior to the class.
