授業のねらい Learning Objectives	さまざまな作文課題やクラスでのディスカッションを通して、日本語のアカデミック・ライティング能力および論理的思考力を養成する。また、論理的文章の作成に必要な表現を学ぶ。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　 This subject is designed for international students to develop Japanese academic writing skills and logical thinking skills by writing practices and discussion in the class.　It also aims to develop students’ vocabulary used in academic writing.
到達度目標 Outcomes Measured By:	１．アカデミック・ライティングに必要な表現や文章の書き方を理解する。 ２．構造や仕組みの説明、比較、考察、要約、など、それぞれの目的に応じた正確で論理的な文章が書ける。 ３．簡略化した日本語を使ってPPTが作成できる。 1. Understanding of phrases, connectives and organization of paragraphs in academic writing. 2. Writing accurate and logical texts for different purposes such as description of structure and mechanism, comparison, discussion, and summary. 3. Making a Power Point file with simplified Japanese phrases and sentences.

成績評価方法 Grading Guidelines	作文課題により評価する。 100点満点中60点以上を合格点とする。 The score of each student is evaluated by writing assignments. A grade of more than 60 is accepted for a credit.
履修上の注意 Please Note	日本語能力試験N2レベル程度以上の日本語力を有すること。 授業には８０％以上出席し、作文課題を提出すること。 Higher than JLPT N2 level of Japanese language proficiency is required to register for this course. Students have to be attend above 80％ of classes and submit every writing assignment.
