授業のねらい Learning Objectives	学生の興味と英語能力に応じた中級（TOEIC400-500）の教材を用いて総合的な英語力を習得する。

教科書・参考書に関する備考	授業に必要な資料は適宜プリントとして配布する。 Textbook: There is no textbook for this class, but students should prepare a clear file for organizing handouts, which will be given out each class.
成績評価方法 Grading Guidelines	期末試験５０％、その他５０％の割合で１００点満点に換算し、６０点以上を合格とする。 不認定者は再試験をうけなければならない。再試験で認定された場合、評点は６０点である。 到達度目標（１）は課題又は小テスト又はインタビューテストで評価する 到達度目標（２）、（３）、（４）は課題、小テスト又は期末試験で評価する
履修上の注意 Please Note	欠席は理由の如何にかかわらず3回までしか認めない。 4回以上欠席した者は再履習しなければならない。 正当な理由なく遅刻した場合は、欠席扱いとなる。
教員メッセージ Message from Lecturer	１．授業開始に遅れると「遅刻」となり、５分以上の遅刻は欠席とみなします。 ２．原則として、授業開始後の途中退室は認めません。許可なく退室した者は欠席とみなします。 ３．この授業では、初級〜中級程度の英文で書かれたテーマについて自分の意見を考え、それを英語で表す練習をします。同時に、英語の習得方法や文法事項も授業の中で積極的に取り上げます。 自分の英語力を伸ばすために必要な事を見つけ、積極的に学ぶ姿勢を身に付けましょう。 Explanation of the class: In this class, a new topic will be introduced through a short reading passage. Students will be asked to write questions about the topic, and these will be practiced in pairs. The good things and bad things about the topic will also be discussed in small groups. Finally, students will be asked to write a short dialogue about the topic. For the presentations, students will be asked to introduce themselves, and then convince a company why it should hire them by introducing their skills and special qualities.
