授業のねらい Learning Objectives	このコースは広い意味で環境科学に関連した大学や企業での有機化学の研究について概説する。履修している学生は英語でのコミュニケーション力を養う機会もある。また環境有機化学に関するプレゼンテーションを行う機会もある。 This course will cover topics in research in organic chemistry in academia and industry related to environmental science in a broad sense. Students will also have opportunities to cultivate skills in communicating in English. Students will also have opportunities to read and summarize papers related to environmental organic chemistry from journals and to present them to the class.
到達度目標 Outcomes Measured By:	広い意味で環境に関連した有機化学という観点にたった場合に現実に大学や企業でどのように応用され、また管理されているのかを理解すること。その上で口述、記述ともに第三者に理解されるように環境有機化学のプレゼンテーションが出来るようになること。 Learning about the application of organic chemistry and management of organic chemistry in the context of environmental science in academia and industry is the primary objective. Professionally acceptable levels of oral and written presentation about organic chemistry in environmental chemistry is also expected.

成績評価方法 Grading Guidelines	評価は講演・デイスカッションへの参加 (20%)、プレゼンテーション (40%)、および小論文 (40%)により行われる。６０％以上が合格である。The grade will be assigned based on participation of the lectures/discussion (20%), a presentation (40%), and a written paper (40%). The passing grade is 60% or higher.

教員メッセージ Message from Lecturer	この授業により有機化学が環境科学という立場にたち様々な現場においてどのように応用、管理されているか学んでほしい。また英語でのコミュニケーション力も養ってほしい。I hope that students will learn about real-world applications of organic chemistry through this class. I also hope that students will cultivate skills in communicating in English.
