授業のねらい Learning Objectives	This course aims at giving students the basic language and confidence required to communicate orally in a variety of everyday situations. In class students will participate in exchanges where English is used. 履修上の注意 Please Note	欠席は理由の如何にかかわらず3回までしか認めない。4回以上欠席の者は、再履修しなければならない。 このクラスは英語科目の単位を既に10単位以上取得した学生のみ履修可能です。 不合格の場合再試験が起こらない。
教員メッセージ Message from Lecturer	Your participation mark is based on your performance in class. This means listening to instructions, asking the teacher questions in class, answering the teacher, and speaking and listening actively in group and pair work. Being late or leaving class early will affect your overall class grade. This is an English classroom. You learn English by using it. You limit your classmates’ learning opportunities by only speaking Japanese to them. Please encourage each other to speak English.

備考 Remarks	外国語の学習はスポーツの修得に似ています。頭で理解するだけでは不十分で、実際に自分で反復し修得し実践でどんどん応用していくことなしに上達はありえません。授業の形態は講義形式ですが、学生の皆さんからの積極的な参加を期待します。
