授業のねらい Learning Objectives	To learn to communicate confidently about everyday topics To increase vocabulary on specific topics To develop critical thinking skills In this class, you will participate in a variety of listening, speaking, reading and writing activities. Some activities will be individual, but the majority will be pair or group activities which require English communication and cooperation for successful completion.
到達度目標 Outcomes Measured By:	Students will develop their communicative competence in all four skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing. These will be measured by tests, presentations, and instructor-student interviews.

履修上の注意 Please Note	Your participation mark is based on your performance in class. This means listening to instructions, asking the teacher questions in class, answering the teacher, and speaking and listening actively in group and pair work. Being late or leaving class early will affect your overall class grade. This class is limited to 15 students. Students will be selected based on an interview. Re-examination policy: Students who missed 1/3 or less of the classes and participated fully in the class are able to re-take the examination once, in cases of failure only.
