授業のねらい Learning Objectives |
This class aims to develop communicative competence in English through extensive practice in listening and speaking. Further aims of this class include development of sociolinguistic competence and intercultural communication skills. The prime objective is that students will improve their confidence in communicating in English. |

成績評価方法 Grading Guidelines |
Speaking Test (x2)４０％、学期末試験6０％ １００点満点中６０点以上を合格点とする。不認定の者は再試験を受けなければならない。再試験で認定された場合、評点は６０点とする。 |

履修上の注意 Please Note |
欠席は理由の如何にかかわらず3回までしか認めない。『学生便覧』に載っている欠席届を教務課に提出すること。4回以上欠席した者は再履習しなければならない。なお、再試験は1回のみ実施する。再試験で不合格の者は、次年度開講予定の再履習クラスを受講しなければならない。正当な理由なく遅刻した場合は、欠席扱いとなる。 |

１．遅刻はしないこと。出席をとった後の入室は遅刻とみなす。 ２．原則として、授業開始後の途中退室は認めない。許可なく退室した者は、欠席とみなす。 ３．出席した以上、授業に参加することの意思表明をしたことになるので、積極的・協力的な姿勢で学習に臨んでもらいたい。 |

備考 Remarks |
外国語の学習はスポーツの修得に似ています。頭で理解するだけでは不十分で、実際に自分で反復し修得し実践でどんどん応用していくことなしに上達はありえません。授業の形態は講義形式ですが、学生の皆さんからの積極的な参加を期待します。 |
