授業総時間数： ２２．５ Week 1 April 9 Introduction to the course and outline Week 2 April 16 Reading for the main idea in a text. Week 3 April 23 We will do a text chat with students from Australia. This will be followed by more exercises in reading for the main idea in a text. Week 4 May 7 We will do a text chat with students from Australia. This will be followed by reading for specific information. Skimming and scanning. Week 5 May 14 Reading for specific information. Week 6 May 21 First book presentation. Week 7 May 28 Reading for implied meaning. Week 8 June 4 Reading for implied meaning. Week 9 June 11 Critical reading ? comparing and contrasting news. Week 10 June 18 Second book presentation Week 11 June 25 Critical reading ? vocabulary in focus. Week 12 July 2 Critical reading ? a grammatical perspective. Week 13 July 9 Critical reading ? recognizing persuasion and bias. Week 14 July 16 Final book presentation. Week 15 July 23 Review and exam preparation. Week 16 July 30 Final exam. |

| 成績評価方法 |
100点満点で定期試験50％、課題・小テスト等50％の割合で評価する。 100点満点中60点以上を合格点とする。不認定の者は再試験を受けなければならない。 再試験で認定された場合、評点は60点とする。 各到達度目標の評価方法は、次のように行う。 目標1. 課題・小テスト等、定期試験において内容理解問題を出題し、達成度を評価する。 目標2. 課題・小テスト等、定期試験において説明論述問題を出題し、達成度を評価する。 目標3. 課題・小テスト等、定期試験において語彙・文法問題を出題し、達成度を評価する。 |
| 履修上の注意 |
欠席の回数は理由の如何にかかわらず３回までしか認めない。『学生便覧』に載っている欠席届けを教務課に提出すること。４回以上欠席した者は再履修しなければならない。 コンピュータ教室で行うので毎回必ず自分のユーザ名とパスワードを持ってきてください。 |
