To provide a basic foundation for the student’s advanced study of environmental policy |

1. Ability of student to outline the historical transition of principles of environmental policy in the modern times. 2. Ability of student to understand the progress of environmental policy within a framework of international community. 3. Ability of student to have an idea of current situations and problems facing environmental policy. |
授業計画 Course Schedule |
Total hours=24 1. The first five hours for sustainable development as a revolutionary idea of environmental policy 2. The second five hours for the convention on biological diversity as an example of international cooperation toward the advance of environmental policy 3. The last five hours for traditional ecological knowledge as a breakthrough in tackling the global climate change. |
