授業のねらい Learning Objectives	将来社会に出る時に必要となるであろう、メンタルヘルス上の問題について、興味を抱き理解を深める。講義は最少限とし、参加者にとって興味のあるテーマを１人１つずつ決め、自分で調べセミナーで発表することを課す。また、実際に心理検査を受けて自分の性格傾向を知る、映画を観て医療制度問題を考える、精神障害・知的障害・認知症患者の施設を訪れ、日本の社会福祉制度について考えるなど、体験型の学習も行う。一部の講義・討論は英語で行う（出席必須）。 This lecture aims to increase your knowledge on mental health issues which will be necessary in your future. Each attendant must choose one topic related to mental health and give a presentation. Attendants will also take a psychological examination on their personality and know how to prevent from psychiatric illness. You will see a movie “SiCKO” and discuss medical care systems of your country and others. You will have an opportunity to visit a psychiatric hospital, a nursing home and a vocational aid center. Some of the lectures will be given in English and presentations may be given in English. Foreign students will be most welcome!
到達度目標 Outcomes Measured By:	さまざま場面におけるメンタルヘルス上の問題を理解し、そのような問題を抱えない、もしくは対処していくための知識を持つ。 This lecture will provide you with some knowledge on mental health and help you dealing with possible mental problems.

教員メッセージ Message from Lecturer	メンタルヘルスの問題は、自分自身または周囲の人が経験する可能性が非常に高いものです。メンタルヘルスを正しく理解することは、自分や家族が健康に暮らしていくために必要な知識です。さらに、就職した後、健全な職場環境を整備するためにも役に立つと思います。 Mental health is a basic but the most important issue in your private and social life. This lecture aims to help you live a better life and develop better inter-personal relationships.
