授業のねらい	This course aims at giving students the basic language required to communicate orally in a variety of everyday situations. In class students will participate in exchanges where English is required to be used. Listening exercises will also be incorporated.
到達度目標	Students will develop basic communication skills that can be used in everyday situations. They will primarily use oral communication skills in this class.
授業計画	Week 1 Introduction to the course plus greetings and common phrases. Week 2 I never watch ... Week 3 We're going to take a day trip. Week 4 I can't take your call. Week 5 I have a great boss. Week 6 She's really outgoing. Week 7 Review Week 8 I'm pretty swamped. Week 9 It's easy come easy go. Week 10 Did you hit it off? Week 11 I'd rather rough it. Week 12 Are you stressed out? Week 13 I've never heard of her. Week 14 Review. Week 15 Final exam.

参考書
成績評価方法	定期試験60％(の内５割は会話の試験です）、小テスト・課題40％によって評価し、１００点満点中６０点以上を合格とする。不認定の者は再試験や追加課題を受けなければならない。再試験で認定された場合、評点は６０点とする。
履修上の注意	欠席は理由の如何にかかわらず3回までしか認めない。4回以上欠席の者は、再履修しなければならない。
