授業のねらい	高校までに学習した　文法事項」をふまえて、国際コミュニケーションの基礎となる英語の読解能力と作文能力の向上」を目指す。
到達度目標	現代英語で書かれたものを正しく理解する力をつける。 1. Students will learn how to create paragraphs and a basic essay in the writing component of this class. 2. Students will increase their vocabulary and use it to produce basic essays.

参考書
成績評価方法	平常点(小テスト、課題等）５０％、期末試験５０％の割合で評価する。二人の教員の成績を平均して６０点以上を合格とする。不認定の学生は再試験を受けること。再試験で認定された場合、評点は６０点である。
履修上の注意	欠席は理由の如何にかかわらず５回までしか認めない。６回以上欠席の場合は再履修しなければならない。
