授業のねらい |
This class will provide students with an introduction to both the paper and computer-based TOEFL tests. Students will be introduced to specific skills and strategies pertaining to the listening, structure, reading and writing sections. In class students will examine and discuss sample questions, and complete sample tests. Students will have the opportunity to reinforce the skills learned through self-study of the computer test on the CD-ROM which accompanies the textbook. |

1) To introduce students to the overall structure of the TOEFL test. 2) To develop a core set of strategies to approach the various sections of the TOEFL test. 3) To develop students' awareness of their own weak points in reference to the TOEFL, and provide guidance and practice to improving in these areas. |

成績評価方法 |
Grades in this class will be based on class participation and completion of the work assigned in class. A more complete explanation of grading criteria will be provided in the first class.

1.欠席は理由の如何にかかわらず,履修登録締め切り後,2回までしか認めない。 2.原則として,低年次履修は認めない。(例えば,3年生が単位未修得のため,2年生に開講している科目を履修することは認めない。)ただし,編入学生は例外とする。 |

Students will be required to come to class on time, and to complete and submit all work assigned. In the event of syudent absence, it will be the student's responsibility to contact the instructor to find out what has been missed. |
