In particular, we are performing the societal implementation of&nbsp; both &#8220;space and ground&#8221; SAR domains. The main activities in our lab are as follows. Through these societal implementations, we develop algorithms to enhance measurement accuracy and efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u885b\u661fSAR\u306b\u3088\u308b\u30a4\u30f3\u30c9\u30cd\u30b7\u30a2\u71b1\u5e2f\u6ce5\u70ad\u5730\u8a08\u6e2c \/ Tropical peatland monitoring in Indonesia by spaceborne SAR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u885b\u661fSAR\u306b\u3088\u308b\u30a4\u30f3\u30d5\u30e9\u8a08\u6e2c \/ Infrastructure monitoring by spaceborne SAR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u885b\u661fSAR\u306b\u3088\u308b\u5730\u6ed1\u308a\u8a08\u6e2c \/ Landslide monitoring by spaceborne SAR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u5730\u4e0a\u8a2d\u7f6e\u578bSAR\u306b\u3088\u308b\u5730\u6ed1\u308a\u8a08\u6e2c \/ Landslide monitoring by ground-based SAR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u5730\u4e0a\u8a2d\u7f6e\u578bSAR\u306b\u3088\u308b\u30a4\u30f3\u30d5\u30e9\u8a08\u6e2c \/ Infrastructure monitoring by ground-based SAR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u5730\u4e0a\u8a2d\u7f6e\u578bSAR\u306b\u3088\u308b\u7a4d\u96ea\u8a08\u6e2c \/ Snow parameter retrieval by ground-based SAR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u30c9\u30ed\u30fc\u30f3\u642d\u8f09SAR\u306e\u958b\u767a \/ Development of drone-borne SAR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>SAR\u306f\u96e2\u308c\u305f\u5834\u6240\u304b\u3089\u5bfe\u8c61\u306b\u96fb\u6ce2\u3092\u7167\u5c04\u3057\uff0c\u53cd\u5c04\u6ce2\u3092\u89e3\u6790\u3057\u3066\u5bfe\u8c61\u3092\u753b\u50cf\u5316\uff08\u4e8c\u6b21\u5143\uff0c\u4e09\u6b21\u5143\u8a08\u6e2c\uff09\u3059\u308b\u6280\u8853\u3067\u3059\u3002\u5f97\u3089\u308c\u305f\u30c7\u30fc\u30bf\u3092\u6642\u7cfb\u5217\u89e3\u6790\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3067\uff0c\u5730\u8868\u306e\u52d5\u304d\uff08\u5909\u4f4d\uff09\u3092\u5b9a\u91cf\u7684\u304b\u3064\u9762\u7684\u306b\u9ad8\u7cbe\u5ea6\u3067\u8a08\u6e2c\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\uff0c\u3053\u308c\u306f\u30a4\u30f3\u30d5\u30e9\u70b9\u691c\uff0c\u706b\u5c71\u89b3\u6e2c\uff0c\u5730\u6bbb\u5909\u52d5\u306a\u3069\uff0c\u69d8\u3005\u306a\u5834\u9762\u3067\u6d3b\u7528\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) is a technology that produces 2D or 3D image of the target with the radar technology. By performing time-series analysis on the obtained data, it is possible to measure surface movements (displacement) with high accuracy and in a spatially comprehensive manner. This is utilized in various fields such as infrastructure inspection, volcano monitoring, and crustal deformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Development and implementation of GB-SAR<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u885b\u661fSAR\u306f\u5e83\u7bc4\u56f2\u306e\u89b3\u6e2c\u30c7\u30fc\u30bf\u3092\u63d0\u4f9b\u3067\u304d\u307e\u3059\u304c\uff0c\u885b\u661f\u306e\u56de\u5e30\u65e5\u6570\u306b\u7269\u7406\u7684\u306a\u9650\u754c\u304c\u3042\u308b\u305f\u3081\u89b3\u6e2c\u9593\u9694\u306f\u6570\u65e5\u30ab\u30f3\u30c8\u30ea\u30a2\u30eb\u30bf\u30a4\u30e0\u6027\u306b\u4e4f\u3057\u304f\uff0c\u7dca\u6025\u6642\u306e\u6a5f\u52d5\u7684\u306a\u89b3\u6e2c\u304c\u3067\u304d\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002\u305d\u306e\u305f\u3081\uff0c\u885b\u661f\u30d7\u30e9\u30c3\u30c8\u30d5\u30a9\u30fc\u30e0\u3060\u3051\u3067\u306a\u304f\uff0cUAV\u3084\u5730\u4e0a\u30bb\u30f3\u30b5\u3068\u3057\u3066SAR\u6280\u8853\u3092\u5229\u7528\u3059\u308b\u3068\u3044\u3063\u305f\u30a2\u30d7\u30ed\u30fc\u30c1\u304c\u7814\u7a76\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002\u5730\u4e0a\u8a2d\u7f6e\u578bSAR\u306f\u30ec\u30fc\u30eb\u306e\u4e0a\u3092\u30a2\u30f3\u30c6\u30ca\u304c\u8d70\u67fb\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3067\u753b\u50cf\u3092\u5f97\u308b\u30bb\u30f3\u30b7\u30f3\u30b0\u6280\u8853\u3067\u3059\u3002\u7814\u7a76\u5ba4\u304c\u6709\u3059\u308b\u30b7\u30b9\u30c6\u30e0\u306f\u304a\u3088\u305d10\u79d2\u306b\u4e00\u679a\u753b\u50cf\u3092\u53d6\u5f97\u3067\u304d\u308b\u305f\u3081\u6e96\u30ea\u30a2\u30eb\u30bf\u30a4\u30e0\u3067\u8a08\u6e2c\u304c\u53ef\u80fd\u3067\u3059\u3002\u672c\u7814\u7a76\u5ba4\u3067\u306fGB-SAR\u3092\u5229\u7528\u3057\u3066\u81ea\u7136\u659c\u9762\u8a08\u6e2c\u3084\u30a4\u30f3\u30d5\u30e9\u8a08\u6e2c\u306a\u3069\u3092\u5b9f\u65bd\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spaceborne SAR can provide wide-area observation data, but due to the limitations of satellite revisit times, the observation intervals span several days, lacking real-time capabilities and making it difficult to conduct agile observations during emergencies. Therefore, approaches utilizing SAR technology not only from satellite platforms but also from UAVs and ground sensors are being studied. Ground-based SAR (GB-SAR) is a sensing technology that obtains images by scanning an antenna over a linear rail. The GB-SAR system in our laboratory can acquire an image approximately every 10 seconds, allowing for near real-time measurement. This allows for long-term measurements of landslides and other phenomena. This makes it impossible to capture the vibration information of the target. Therefore, for infrastructure monitoring that requires vibration measurement, we are developing and implementing a MIMO (Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output) radar that can acquire SAR images without mounting a radar onto a drone (UAV), it is possible to perform wide-area measurements quickly and efficiently in emergency situations.
