Lowering of BCP Level and announcement on the implementation method of classes

From June 24th, 2021, the BCP level of MuroranIT will be moved down to Level 1 in order to resume education and research on campus along with strict anti-infection measures. With an alleviation in the BCP Level, most classes will be switched to face-to-face format, but some classes will remain to be conducted online. For details on the implementation method of each class, please confirm the Moodle page set for each class.

As for extracurricular activities, some of them may be allowed only when approved by the University, on a case-by-case basis, as an activity guaranteeing the containment of COVID-19 infection.

We ask all the students to continue to follow “Action Guideline for Avoiding COVID-19” and COVID-19 prevention instructions such as face mask use, disinfection and social distancing.

In addition, MuroranIT would like all the students to avoid the following actions:

-Using restaurants where anti-COVID-19 measures are not taken;

-Having conversations while eating;

-Making unnecessary and non-urgent travels to and from areas (such as Sapporo City and its surrounding areas) where infectious diseases are being spread;

-Going out when you are not feeling well.

-Any kind of group activities such as a dinner, party or karaoke, etc., as they will increase the risk of infection;

-Any kind of activities with people living in these areas, even if the number of participants is small;

Please do not forget that protecting yourself and those around you depends on your behaviors.
