[Important] Warning for the re-emergence of COVID-19

Dear Students,

After 6 June, 2021, several students of our university have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19.

In some of these cases, the infection may have spread due to activities among students, such as eating with friends.

In addition, depending on the spread of COVID-19 infection, there is a possibility that students may not be able to use the university’s facilities, so we have to take more thorough measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases than ever before.

At present, MuroranIT is working with the public health center to identify those who have had close contact with the disease, and is promptly contacting those suspected of being infected.

All students are requested to take the following measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

– Do not eat, drink, or go karaoke in a group because of the high risk of infection.

– Please avoid unnecessary travel to and from Sapporo and surrounding areas where infectious diseases are spreading.

– Do not eat, drink, or go karaoke with the person who live in Sapporo and surrounding areas where infectious diseases are spreading.

– Refrain from going out if you are not feeling well.

– Thoroughly follow the infection prevention measures you have already taken, such as disinfection and use of masks.

Thank you for your cooperation.
